LOOM WEAVING

An Introduction to Loom Weaving will teach you the skills to make your very own contemporary hand woven wall hanging. You'll use a lovely bamboo weaving loom and beautiful wool and cotton yarns to create your own unique design. A small class size ensures you get plenty of one-on-one assistance.
You will learn how to warp your loom, various types of weaving techniques to create interesting patterns and textures including plain/tabby weave, angles, rya knots and soumak, and the techniques to finish off your piece and take it off the loom.
You get to keep your loom and weaving tools, a weaving guide, and enough fibres to complete your piece if you don't complete it in the workshop.
